How do I monitor MSDE performance

How can I monitor the MSDE performance. I read about it
on the MSDN site but was not clear what tool to use.

depending on what you want to monitor, you can even use the System Monitor,
adding your preferred counters, like

How do I downgrade SQL Server from SP4 to SP3?

We have hit performance issues with our SQL server after upgraded it to SP3 from SP3a, is there any way that I can downgrade it back to Service Pack3a?
